NOVOMATIC Americas Announces Two Transitions in Leadership

NOVOMATIC Americas, a subsidiary of NOVOMATIC Americas Holdings, has announced changes to its management team. Alexander Merwald, the current CEO, will hand over leadership responsibilities to experienced professionals Sabine Stoppel and Jakob Rothwangl.

Sabine Stoppel Takes on an Expanded Role

Sabine Stoppel, a member of the Management Board of NOVOMATIC Americas Holdings and NOVOMATIC Americas for over 1.5 years, brings 35 years of experience within the NOVOMATIC AG Group. Her extensive background and proven performance within the organization will now continue to guide NOVOMATIC Americas in her expanded role.

Jakob Rothwangl steps into an operational management role at NOVOMATIC Americas Sales. Since 2021, Rothwangl has been a key figure at NOVOMATIC Americas Holdings, contributing to the company’s foundational efforts during its entry into the U.S. market over a decade ago. “His broad expertise will be instrumental in driving the sales efforts forward.” noted NOVOMATIC.

New NOVOMATIC Americas Management Board

Alexander Merwald will shift his focus to his role as CEO in South Africa. This transition allows him to dedicate efforts toward the development and legal expansion of the gaming sector in that region.

“With these changes, NOVOMATIC Americas is poised to tackle future challenges and pursue a successful path ahead with a strengthened management team and a clear strategic direction,” said the company.

The new NOVOMATIC Americas Management Board consists of Sabine Stoppel, Jakob Rothwangl, and Len Busche.
