Adam Landeka Transitions From theScore to PENN Entertainment

12.12.2024

Adam Landeka, a seasoned expert with experience at Paddy Power, Superbet, and theScore, has transitioned to theScore’s parent company PENN Entertainment to lead the sportsbook strategy and growth initiatives.

Strengthening PENN Entertainment

Adam Landeka is leaving theScore team after more than four years, where he played a key role in product development. Earlier this year, he was promoted to VP of Product Management, but now he is taking on new challenges in his career.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Landeka is stepping into his new role at PENN Entertainment, focusing on advancing its sportsbook operations.

“20 years after first entering the sportsbook trading space – I’m going back to the commercial side to focus on supporting business growth and improving business performance,” Landeka shared on LinkedIn.

Aaron LeBerge, PENN’s Chief Technology Officer, congratulated him in the comments, saying: “Big move for us, Adam. As you know, our sportsbook operations and product are inextricably connected. There is no better person to help us accelerate our business.”

Extensive Industry Experience

Although Landeka spent the last four years at theScore, his career in the betting industry spans much further back. He previously spent over a year working on product development at European powerhouse Superbet.

However, the most significant chapter in his career was his decade-long tenure at Paddy Power. Landeka started as a European Sports Trader, eventually advancing to Senior Risk and Trading Consultant for tennis at Paddy Power Betfair and later becoming Senior Product and Trading/Risk Consultant.

“Working in product has been incredibly rewarding, and I can honestly say I can’t believe how much I’ve learned. I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with so many great people, and I’m so thankful to have shared that journey with all of you,” Landeka wrote in his post, addressing his colleagues at theScore.
