Arizona Tribal Gaming Contributions Hit $43.9 Million in Q1 FY 2025

The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has announced that tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund were $43,926,346 for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025. That’s 3.6% more than the same quarter of FY 2024.

Big Impact on State Programs

The contributions fund state programs. 88% of the tribal gaming contributions go to the Arizona Benefits Fund which supports education, trauma care, tourism, wildlife conservation and problem gambling prevention throughout the state.

Per Jackie Johnson, ADG Director, the cumulative contributions to the Instructional Improvement Fund have now exceeded $1 billion, that’s the long-term impact of tribal gaming on education and Arizona communities. “This growth highlights the continued strength of the partnership between the state and our Arizona tribal partners. Notably, cumulative tribal contributions to the Instructional Improvement Fund have now surpassed $1 billion, demonstrating the significant and ongoing impact of tribal gaming on education and communities across Arizona.” Johnson said.
