NFL Legend Rob Gronkowski Joins NAPT Las Vegas Poker Event

17.09.2024

Four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski is set to bring his competitive spirit to the poker tables this November. The former NFL tight end will participate in PokerStars’ Big Game during the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) event at Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas.

Nick Wright Also Joins the Action

Accompanying Gronkowski is sports media personality Nick Wright. An avid poker player, Wright has previously competed in the World Series of Poker and faced off against players like Phil Hellmuth. His experience in high-stakes games makes him a formidable opponent and a notable addition to the event.

Poker enthusiasts have a chance to join Gronkowski and Wright at the Big Game table. FanDuel is running special NFL contests during the first two weeks of the season, where two winners will receive North American Poker Tour Gold Passes. These passes allow recipients to skip the standard qualification process and proceed directly to auditions for the Big Game on Tour.

Details About the North American Poker Tour

The NAPT makes its return to Las Vegas this November at Resorts World Casino. The series will feature auditions and filming for the Big Game on Tour, a unique high-stakes cash game. In this format, a selected qualifier, known as the “Loose Cannon,” is bankrolled to play against some of the world’s best poker players. Each session consists of 150 hands, and any profits earned by the Loose Cannon are theirs to keep.

Each Gold Pass awarded is valued at $10,000. The package includes a $5,300 buy-in for the NAPT Las Vegas main event, $1,800 allocated for travel expenses for the winner and a guest, and $2,900 for hotel accommodations. This comprehensive package ensures that winners can fully experience the excitement of the NAPT event.
