Wexler’s Legacy and Transition
Ybarra takes over from Adam Wexler, the founder and outgoing CEO, who will now serve as the executive chairman of the company’s board.

Under his leadership, PrizePicks has grown to attract over 10 million community members and has awarded billions of dollars in winnings. Wexler expressed pride in the company’s achievements and confidence in Ybarra’s ability to drive further growth.
Ybarra’s Background and Vision
Mike Ybarra brings over 25 years of leadership and operational experience in the tech and gaming industries to PrizePicks. As the president of Blizzard Entertainment, he managed the entire portfolio’s profit and loss and spearheaded growth initiatives. Before Blizzard, Ybarra spent nearly 20 years at Microsoft, holding various leadership roles.
Ybarra expressed excitement about joining PrizePicks and leading its next growth phase. He praised the company’s team, energy, and passion, expressing his honor at being appointed CEO. “PrizePicks is the most exciting company in sports entertainment today, and it’s an honor to join as CEO. I have tremendous respect for the foundation that Adam has built and look forward to working with him and the team,” Ybarra said.
