Wire Industries Expands with FantasyWire and Wire Media Group
Wire Industries, the technology and media company behind the sports betting marketplace WagerWire, has officially launched FantasyWire and the Wire Media Group (WMG) as separate operational divisions.
New Horizons in Fantasy Sports
FantasyWire will now operate as an independent brand alongside WagerWire. The new division introduces the first-ever DFS pick ‘em marketplace on RealTime Fantasy Sports (RTS), allowing players to buy and sell line-ups in real-time using suggested prices and deal scores.
The Wire Media Group encompasses the company’s media network, The Wire, and its affiliate marketing division, The Sports Influencers.
Launched in 2023, WMG quickly gained national attention with original content that has been viewed hundreds of millions of times. The group’s success includes recognition from major media outlets and nominations for prestigious awards like the Hashtag Sports Award for Best Sports Betting Content.
The Wire, under WMG, collaborates with top-tier creators and networks, including Betr Media and Pro League Network (PLN). The content spans various genres, from sports betting to pop culture, enhancing the overall ecosystem by generating engaging and viral content.
Driving Engagement and Growth
“Our media division plays a crucial role in our ecosystem,” said Travis Geiger, Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer. “The continuous stream of interesting line-ups and bet slips from our marketplace provides a rich source of viral content. This drives organic consumer awareness and engagement, creating a powerful flywheel effect.”
WMG’s affiliate business, The Sports Influencers, employs a diversified strategy of social media services, events, and direct conversions to drive sign-ups for partners like FanDuel, Caesars, and BetMGM. This division was shortlisted for SBC North America’s Sports Betting Affiliate of the Year award in both 2023 and 2024.
Wire Industries is also developing additional gaming verticals, including PonyWire for horse racing bets, ContestWire for various gaming entries, and DataWire, which focuses on developing proprietary pricing models and betting tools.
