Jackpot.com Partners with The Associated Press for Nationwide Lottery Results
Jackpot.com has announced a new partnership with The Associated Press (AP). As part of this collaboration, Jackpot.com will become the official lottery courier and provider of nationwide lottery results for AP.
Expanding Lottery Access
The partnership will allow consumers to purchase official state lottery tickets via their phone, tablet, or computer through Jackpot.com, which is currently operational in six states, including New Jersey, where it recently launched.
Under the new agreement, Jackpot.com will provide various state lottery results on APNews.com and to AP’s customers via a dedicated “lottery results feed.”
This service will include up-to-date lottery drawing results and enable AP customers to offer ticket-purchasing services through their own websites where permitted.
Enhancing User Experience
Akshay Khanna, CEO and co-founder of Jackpot.com, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, “Working with The Associated Press as their official lottery courier and provider of state lottery results marks a pivotal moment for us at Jackpot.com. This collaboration not only helps provide readers with the latest lottery drawing results but enables them to seamlessly and responsibly purchase lottery tickets online. Through AP’s extensive reach, we’re not just selling tickets; we’re transforming the landscape of lottery gaming.”
Jackpot.com emphasizes its commitment to responsible gaming by allowing customers to set spending limits and default daily deposit limits.
The platform also provides access to local and national responsible gambling resources, self-exclusion, self-suspension, and automated notifications to assist users exhibiting problematic behavior. Notably, Jackpot.com is the only lottery courier service to launch with iCap certification from the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Barry Bedlan, AP’s global products director for text, data, and new markets, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We look forward to working with Jackpot.com to provide the latest lottery results to our customers as well as the audience on APNews.com.”
