Forkast Migrates to Arbitrum, Tapping Speed and Liquidity for Live Prediction Markets
Forkast, a prediction market for gaming and cultural events, announced a strategic migration to Arbitrum, Ethereum’s leading layer-2 network.

This aims to leverage Arbitrum’s speed and deep liquidity to transform how users trade predictions tied to live events. Forkast’s goal is to offer real-time, streamer-native trading infrastructure across gaming, sports, crypto, and broader culture.
Speed Enables Real-Time Trading
Forkast’s decision to choose Arbitrum was driven by the network’s high performance, specifically its block speeds as low as 250 milliseconds. This speed is essential for a high-frequency trading platform where predictions are based on fast-moving live events.
Forkast CEO Chris Gonsalves stated, “Prediction markets live or die by speed and liquidity. Arbitrum’s unmatched performance makes it the perfect home for Forkast.”
The migration allows users to open, adjust, and settle markets in near real time using USDC. This fluid trading experience differs from traditional prediction markets that often focus on slower political or macroeconomic events.
By processing trades instantly, Forkast can better integrate into the live-streaming ecosystem. This streamer-native approach allows content creators to launch custom, real-time markets for their audience, transforming passive viewing into active participation and creating a new revenue stream for creators.
Accessing Arbitrum’s DeFi Liquidity
Beyond transaction speed, the partnership grants Forkast strategic access to Arbitrum’s large decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Arbitrum currently holds a large share of the Layer 2 market and secures billions in Total Value Locked (TVL).
This access to liquidity is crucial for market efficiency and stability. To capitalize on this, Forkast is launching a daily incentive program that offers USDC rewards to users who provide liquidity and act as market makers.
This program is designed to attract professional market makers and prediction market hedge funds, leading to deeper on-chain liquidity and enhancing the transparency of market prices.
Shared Vision for Consumer-Ready Web3
The migration aligns with Arbitrum’s strategy to support consumer-facing applications, particularly through Arbitrum Gaming Ventures. By combining the network’s scalability and liquidity with Forkast’s fast-moving markets, the collaboration expands the possibilities for on-chain prediction and audience participation.
Ethan Sy, Venture Associate at Arbitrum Gaming Ventures, supported the move, stating, “Forkast is bringing prediction markets into the heart of live entertainment, building infrastructure that makes speculation as dynamic and social as the content itself.” The platform’s ability to bridge interactive entertainment with GenZ-friendly trading infrastructure fits Arbitrum’s mission to deliver scalable, consumer-ready applications for esports fandom, influencer livestreams, and major sporting events.
