FanDuel Extends EuroLeague Broadcast Deal Through 2028
FanDuel has renewed its broadcast partnership with Euroleague Basketball, extending the agreement through 2028. The multi-year deal ensures that the premier European basketball competition remains free-to-air for audiences in the United States.

Under the terms of the renewed contract, FanDuel will broadcast over 100 games per season. Coverage will be carried primarily on the company’s Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel, FanDuel TV Extra, and its Over-the-Top (OTT) platform, FanDuel TV+.
Expanded U.S. Access and Format
The extended partnership, secured by Euroleague Basketball’s strategic partner IMG, expands the access U.S. fans have to Europe’s top-tier basketball. The broadcast schedule includes live games from the EuroLeague Regular Season each week, along with the Play-In Showdown, the Playoffs, and the Final Four.
The agreement aligns with a growth phase for the EuroLeague, which has expanded its total number of competing clubs to 20 teams. This 20-team format is the largest since the league’s modern structure began.
The expansion includes the debut of Dubai Basketball, further confirming the league’s increased international focus. Alex Ferrer Kristjansson, Euroleague Basketball Marketing and Communication Chief Officer, confirmed the renewal shows the growing American interest in the league.
Free-to-Air Distribution Strategy
Michael Shiffman, SVP and Executive Producer of FanDuel TV, stated that offering this premium content for free is part of FanDuel’s core mission. The availability of more than 100 EuroLeague games on FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+ provides a no-cost, simple way for U.S. fans to follow the league.
FanDuel TV Extra is widely available on major free streaming services. These platforms include The Roku Channel, Prime Video, Pluto TV, and Samsung TV Plus. The sister platform, FanDuel TV+, is also free to watch with a FanDuel account.
This free distribution strengthens FanDuel TV’s live sports offerings and boosts the EuroLeague’s visibility across North America. Select games will also appear on the linear FanDuel Sports Network and stream through its companion app.
