BetMGM Extends Steelers Partnership, Boosts Fan Engagement Through 2029
BetMGM has renewed its agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers, extending the partnership through the 2029 season. The deal solidifies BetMGM’s designation as an Official Sports Betting, Online Casino, and Gaming Partner of the franchise. The extension focuses on deepening BetMGM’s presence across team platforms, enhancing the fan experience, and continuing high-value promotions for the Steelers’ fan base, known as Steelers Nation.

Expanded Digital and In-Stadium Presence
The extended agreement introduces new in-game elements and integrates BetMGM across the Steelers’ media channels year-round. Key features of the partnership include:
- In-Stadium Takeovers: BetMGM will present the field goal and extra point takeovers during home games.
- Media Integration: The partnership covers year-round content across Steelers Nation Radio, Gameday Radio, the Steelers Kickoff Show, locally broadcast preseason games, and The Mike Tomlin Show.
- Digital Content: The deal includes co-branded digital and social media content, along with exclusive VIP events and hospitality experiences.
Ryan Huzjak, Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the Pittsburgh Steelers, highlighted the enhanced experience. Huzjak stated, “Fans will notice new in-game elements and opportunities in addition to the existing Steelers-branded casino games and fan favorite Decade of Black & Gold promotion.”
Exclusive Gaming and Fan Giveaways
BetMGM is focused on creating exclusive, memorable moments for fans in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
A centerpiece of the partnership is the continuation of the popular Decade of Black & Gold Sweepstakes each year. The sweepstakes awards one fan from the two eligible states with 10 years of lower-bowl season tickets and hospitality tent passes for all Pittsburgh Steelers home games.
Fans can enter the current sweepstakes weekly through January 4, 2026, by opting in on the BetMGM app. An additional entry is available by placing at least $25 in cumulative pro football wagers each week, with a limit of two entries per week.
The operator also rolled out new Steelers-branded digital casino games and promotions:
- Steel City Slingo was introduced as the newest exclusive Steelers-branded casino game available at BetMGM Casino.
- A new in-stadium promotion awards eligible players a casino bonus for Steelers-branded casino games if the team scores three or more touchdowns during a scheduled game.

Focus on Responsible Gaming
As part of the renewed agreement, the promotion of responsible gambling remains a key element. The partnership includes enhanced messaging, such as a videoboard takeover before every Steelers home game.

Developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and licensed to MGM Resorts, GameSense offers an industry-leading program integrated into BetMGM’s desktop and mobile platforms.
