Kalshi has partnered with Pyth Network to stream its prediction market data across over 100 blockchains. This integration marks the first time regulated event data will be delivered on-chain at scale, providing developers and institutions with real-time probabilities for outcomes in politics, economics, sports, and culture.

Bridging the Event Data Gap

Prediction markets translate collective expectations about future events into real-time prices. This offers a transparent and dynamic measure of probability that conventional financial systems have historically lacked. Events ranging from economic indicators and policy shifts to major championships provide insight into how market participants collectively value uncertainty.

Until now, builders in the decentralized finance space required a trusted, composable source for this event data. Pyth’s integration with Kalshi solves this by making regulated prediction market prices available to the broader internet and blockchain ecosystem.

Kalshi is the United States’ first federally regulated exchange dedicated to event contracts, operating as a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market (DCM). This regulatory foundation ensures the necessary credibility, oversight, and scale needed to establish event-driven data as a premier category in DeFi. As stated by a community member, “Now builders can finally bring their Kalshi ideas to life on the world computer.”

Data Becomes a Tradable Primitive

The initial integration delivers a diverse set of regulated event markets to the decentralized economy, providing a new class of probability-driven data. These feeds showcase how event data extends beyond standard financial assets, creating new inputs for builders.

Initial live markets now distributed by Pyth include:

  • New York City Mayor Election
  • F1 Drivers Champion
  • MLB Champion
  • Number of Rate Cuts in 2025

Impact for Pyth Network Users

The integration of Kalshi data extends Pyth’s role as a universal source of market intelligence, providing a new foundation for innovation across multiple sectors:

  • Developers can use event-based probabilities as inputs for various applications, including games and governance systems.
  • DeFi protocols can create novel financial products tied directly to political, sports, or macroeconomic outcomes.
  • Institutions gain the ability to integrate auditable, regulated event data into their risk models, research frameworks, and portfolio strategies.
  • Global investors receive access to transparent, real-time probabilities of world events across a vast network of blockchains, enhancing their decision-making.

By combining Kalshi’s regulated markets with Pyth’s on-chain distribution, a new category of financial infrastructure emerges where real-world events become liquid, tradable primitives.

This establishes a new benchmark for data quality by contrasting with unregulated platforms and relying on prices from real-money markets rather than polls or sentiment surveys.
