Gaming Veteran Ed Andrewes to Lead North American Expansion for Partis Interim Management Services
Partis Interim Management Services (PIMS), a provider of specialized leadership teams for the online gaming industry, has appointed veteran executive Ed Andrewes as the new Managing Director of its North American operations. Andrewes, who most recently served as the CEO of Resorts Digital Gaming, brings over 25 years of international sports betting and online gaming experience to the role.

A Unique Model for a Growing Market
PIMS was created to address a specific and growing need in the U.S. gaming market: the “expertise gap.” As more traditional, land-based casino companies look to enter the online space, many lack the in-house talent and operational experience necessary to build, launch, and scale a successful digital gaming business.
PIMS addresses this challenge by providing flexible, interim management teams composed of seasoned iGaming experts. These teams can be embedded directly into a client’s organization, taking on key leadership roles in areas like product, marketing, operations, and commercial management.
“PIMS is a unique proposition,” said Andrewes. “It gives trusted bricks and mortar brands the ability to compete with digital juggernauts by embedding proven Gaming leadership and operational expertise from day one. We’re not just advising from the sidelines – we’re rolling up our sleeves to deliver real results.”
A Proven Leader for a Key Role
Andrewes is a well-known and respected figure in the iGaming industry. As CEO of Resorts Digital Gaming from 2015 to 2024, he led the company from a startup to one of New Jersey’s most successful online operators, a journey that culminated in its sale to Boyd Interactive.
Prior to that, he held senior executive roles at major European operators, including Entain Plc, BetVictor, and Kindred Group, where he built a reputation for combining strategic vision with strong operational execution.
“Ed’s appointment signals our continued commitment to helping clients bridge the expertise gap in digital gaming,” said Gideon Bierer, Founder and Managing Partner at Partis, the parent company of PIMS. “His leadership experience, strategic mindset, and hands-on track record make him the perfect fit to scale PIMS and support more clients on their digital journey.”
A Performance-Driven Approach
A key part of the PIMS model is its focus on performance-linked outcomes. The company’s compensation is often tied directly to the client’s success, with a focus on meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as launch timelines, gross gaming revenue (GGR), and EBITDA.
In addition to driving immediate results, the PIMS teams are also tasked with building long-term capability within the client’s organization. This includes recruiting and mentoring new talent to ensure a seamless transition and sustained success after the interim team’s engagement has concluded.
