Raketech Sells U.S. Tipster Assets to Focus on AffiliationCloud Platform Strategy
Raketech has sold its non-core U.S. tipster and subscription businesses for 1.25 million euros, doubling down on its AffiliationCloud platform.

A Strategic Pivot in the U.S.
Raketech Group, a Malta-based iGaming affiliate, announced the sale of its non-core U.S. tipster and subscription assets, including Winnersandwhiners.com, Picksandparlays.net, and Statsalt.com, for 1.25 million euros.
The move, part of a broader shift to a platform-first model centered on its AffiliationCloud system, follows a tough 2024 marked by revenue declines. “AffiliationCloud is now at the core of how we operate,” said CEO Johan Svensson, emphasizing growth through digital subscriptions and sub-affiliation. The deal, expected to close by June’s end, will save 150,000 euros monthly.
Raketech’s U.S. retreat began in July 2024 with the sale of its offline advisory business, ATS Consultants, for 2.25 million dollars. Acquired in 2021 for 15.5 million dollars, ATS included tipster sites reliant on manual sales, generating 4 million dollars in revenue by Q1 2024 but minimal profit.
The latest divestment, covering digital tipster and subscription services, yielded a 0.3 million euro gain, offset by 0.5 million euros in operational losses and 0.2 million euros in advisory fees.
“This divestment supports our commitment to financial discipline,” Svensson said.
Why the U.S. Market Stumbled
Raketech entered the U.S. with ambition, acquiring PicksandParlays in 2021 and ATS to tap the growing sports betting market. The U.S. operations, however, faced hurdles. Manual sales processes limited scalability, and tipster services contributed a negative 0.3 million euros to EBITDA in Q1 2025.
A 2024 Google core update hit traffic to sites like Picksandparlays.net, while regulatory shifts, including prop bet bans in states like Ohio, squeezed margins.
“Struggles in the U.S. market prompted a comprehensive review,” Svensson noted, leading to the decision to offload non-core assets and pivot to digital strengths.
AffiliationCloud Takes Center Stage
Raketech’s new strategy hinges on AffiliationCloud, a proprietary platform launched in 2022 to unify its affiliate operations. The system integrates in-house sites, partner-led ventures, and third-party publishers, offering real-time analytics and streamlined campaign management.
“We are confident in our ability to scale efficiently,” Svensson said, citing 74% organic growth in AffiliationCloud’s Q4 2024 performance.
The platform supports four exclusive operator deals, including a U.S. partnership managing tier-2 and tier-3 affiliates, boosting sub-affiliation revenue.
Plans to migrate Raketech Network to AffiliationCloud in Q1 2026 aim to enhance efficiency.
