Fanatics Sets Up in Taguig to Boost Jobs and Gaming Ops
Fanatics Betting & Gaming just opened an office in Taguig City, partnering with Claymore Solutions to tap Filipino talent and keep their global betting business running smooth.

Kicking Off in Taguig
Fanatics Betting & Gaming has landed in the Philippines. The company teamed up with Claymore Solutions and opened a new office in Taguig City, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 2.
It’s their first major move outside the U.S., where they’ve been expanding fast. The Philippines, with its knack for business outsourcing, is now their hub alongside offices in Leeds and Dublin.
Claymore Solutions, signed off by PAGCOR as a Special Class BPO, is handling the behind-the-scenes work. They’re sorting out HR, payroll, and office space for Fanatics’ Taguig crew, but they don’t touch bets or gaming cash.
Ian Botts, Fanatics’ tech lead, put it straight: “We are excited to access world-class talent to support our operations as we continue our mission to deliver a premier gaming experience for our customers.”
With the Philippines’ English-speaking workforce and BPO clout, grabbing 10-15% of the global market, it’s a smart pick for Fanatics’ growth.
Jobs for a Hurting Workforce
When the government axed Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators, over 40,000 people lost their jobs. Claymore’s stepping in, planning thousands of new roles with Fanatics as their first big client.
Paul Fox, Claymore’s chairman, said, “Claymore will deliver thousands of high-quality jobs to Filipinos by supporting the growth of reputable gaming operators worldwide.” PAGCOR’s Al Tengco sees it as “a transformative chapter in the Philippine BPO sector,” giving workers a fresh shot at steady gigs.
Why Taguig? It’s a business hotspot, and the Philippines’ BPO scene is unmatched, with skilled folks ready to roll. Andrea Ellis, Fanatics’ CFO, called the office “a physical symbol of a partnership that’s been years in the making.” Fanatics, riding high after snapping up PointsBet’s U.S. business for $225 million, wants to streamline their betting ops while hiring local talent.
